Mason was student at Kossuth High School and was preparing for his senior year. A proud Aggie, he was counting down the days for his senior season. He was so excited for Friday night lights, big wins with his teammates, and the memories that come with your final year of high school. Although, he will not get to live out that season of life, his spirit will forever remain with those who he shared the field, classroom and his life with.
Mason had one of the biggest hearts and sweetest souls this side of Heaven. He truly was a gentle giant whose presence brought comfort to those around him. No matter the situation, Mason always had a smile on his face. His kind heart and caring nature made him so easy to love.
He loved his family fiercely. Especially, his sisters, there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for them. You could always count on him to be there. He showed up when you needed help, always putting everyone above himself. That’s just who Mason Mills was.
Mason loved the outdoors. You could find him hunting, fishing or fixing something he broke. His happiest moments were spent doing the things he loved most. He cherished time with his friends and never missed an opportunity to have a good time. Mason was always cracking jokes and being goofy.
Like most, Mason wasn’t a perfect kid but he was a good kid. Everyone that knew him loved him. Mason was a smart, caring, and loyal soul and that’s exactly what he will be remembered for. Those were Mason’s best qualities that will never be forgotten.
Mason’s life was filled with love, laughter, adventure, and countless memories that we will carry in our hearts forever. While we grieve someone that was loved so deeply, we can also take comfort in knowing that his legacy will live on in all the hearts he touched.
Forever 17, Forever smiling, Forever our Mason.
