Michael "Mike" D. Miller

A Celebration of Life Service for Michael “Mike” Dewayne Miller, 65, is set for 1:00 pm Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Rayburn Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 and Thursday from 11:00 am to service time.

Mike died April 1, 2024 at his residence. He was born December 25, 1958 in Corinth, MS. He attended Union Baptist Church and was a 1976 graduate of Kossuth High School. He retired from Cooper Tire and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Roy Lee and Vernell Miller and his biological parents, Gene Rogers and Billie Ruth Dixon.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Thrasher Miller; son, Richard Palmer; daughter, Amber Taylor (Drew); grandchildren, Madilyn Taylor, Milo Taylor, Braydence Palmer, and Eric Palmer; brothers, Billy Rogers (Judy), James O’Neal Dixon (Tammy), Virgil Jones (Joann), and Clayton Dillinger (Jessie); sisters, Becky Rickman (Jamie), Cynthia Rogers, Teresa Ligon (Marshall) and Loretta Willis (H.E.); and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Donnie Spencer, Timmy Blanton, Michael Brooks, James L. Gray, James Gray, James Rickman, and Steve Jones.
