A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Myra Walker Dawson, 64, is set for 2:00 pm Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. John Little officiating and Tony Walker doing the eulogy. A Family and Friends Gathering will be Thursday from 12:00 to service time.
Myra died October 19, 2024 at her residence. She was born February 23, 1960 in Corinth to the late James and Betty Walker. She was a member of Farmington Baptist Church. Before her illness, she worked at Magnolia Regional Health Center, Dr. Leonard Pratt Medical Clinic and the Alcorn Co. Juvenile Detention Center. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Aaron, and Betty Dawson; and brother-in-law, Charles Dawson.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Billy Dawson; son, Drew Dawson; brother, Tony Walker (Cindy); brother-in-laws, Mike Dawson (Betty) and Mitch Dawson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
