Nelda A. Mills Luce

Nelda Luce, age 64, died Friday, March 11, 2011 at her residence. She was a member of Strickland Baptist Church where she was very active with the Ladies Auxillary. She loved spending time with her family and watching her love birds. She and her husband, Les, were members of the Magnolia Car Club. She enjoyed gardening and riding motorcycles.

Funeral services will be Sunday, March 13, 2011, 2:00 pm at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors Chapel with Bro. Harold Burcham officiating. Burial with be in the Corinth National Cemetery. Visitation was will be Saturday, March 12, 2011 from 5:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.

She is preceded in death by her father, Earl Mills; and her mother, Lenora Blankenship Wroten.

Survivors include her spouse of 40 years, Les Luce; two sons, Richard Luce (Tammy) of Mayfield, Ky. and Gaines Luce(Krista) of Bartlett, Tn.; one daughter, Lisa Luce Chandler (Louis) of Ponotoc, Ms.; her step father, Gaines Wroten of Pensacola, Fl.; two sisters, Peggy Mills Harrison of Jackson, Tn, and Debbie Wroten of Pensacola, Fl.; one brother, Michael Wroten (Gail) of Pensacola, Fl.; twelve grandchildren, Kristen Luce, Brittanni Luce Lynch (Derrick), Justin Veatch, Nicholas Luce, Cole Luce, Clay Chandler, Noah Luce, Benjamin Chandler, Haley Luce, Anna Chandler, Anna Emerson, and Kirk Emerson; and two great grandchildren, Deacon James Edwards and Hayden Riley Shipman

Pallbearers will be Phil Young, Tim Young, Brian James, Jim Henry, Stan Barker, and David Wooten.
