P. Lamar Benjamin

December 29, 1953July 12, 2012

Mr. Benjamin died at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville, MS. Lamar was born December 29, 1953 in Corinth. He attended and graduated from Kossuth High School in 1971. Lamar went on to Northeast and attended and graduated from the University of Mississippi, after finishing Ole Miss, he returned to Corinth and opened Ozone Music. He later moved to Tupelo, MS. Lamar retired from Better Brands Inc. in 2002. He was a member of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. Those who know Lamar always had a story to tell, his witty, friendly personality made him a friend to anyone he met. Lamar’s love for motorcycle and Harley Davidson ran deep. And he found much enjoyment as a member of the Tupelo Tornado Racing Team for many years, always had a smile and was ready to have a good time. He will be greatly missed by those that know and loved him

Preceded in death by his father and mentor Milton Benjamin, brother Lain Benjamin

Survived by his mother Hazel Benjamin of Corinth, MS. Son Walter “Willie” Benjamin of CA, daughter Erica Anyzeski her husband Brad, granddaughter Abby Anyzeski all of Fl. Host of other family and friends
