Patricia Ann Norman Bumpas

Growing up in Florida as a little kid I was always aware of my father’s Mississippi connection & my 7 1/2 year older sister, Patricia, who lived in what to me was the mythical land of Corinth. When she visited Florida it was exciting to me as she was a fairy tale like character who brought knowledge to me of that mythical land. Only problem was she didn’t say our grandmothers name right. We called her “Maw-Maw” & she called her “Ma-Maw”. Patricia had a special love for our grandmother & did so many special things for her. After Patricia married and as her kids got older she would send them to Florida to spend time with us primarily during the summer. Karen, Eddie & Jay all spent extended time in our home in Florida. Once I married & had kids we would travel to Corinth with all its mystic & stay with Pat usually enroute to or from our vacation destination. Jody & Stephanie were close in age to Joe & Thomas so it was something we all looked forward to. These are just an excerpt of the many pleasant memories of Patricia that I have. My family & I are thankful for our times together & we will miss you, Pat.
