Paul E. Weaver

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Paul E. Weaver, 77, will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday February 21, 2021 at Kossuth Baptist Church. Bro. Keith Fields will officiate the service and Steve Jones will provide the eulogy.

Paul died on February 11, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born in Tishomingo County to the late John and Elzadeh Dennington Weaver. He was a graduate of Tishomingo High School and attended North East Mississippi Community College. Paul served his country and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed with ITT for 25 years, worked 7 years for Intex and then at Caterpillar until his retirement. He was a member of Kossuth Baptist Church and enjoyed guns, gardening, traveling, but especially spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lillie Weaver; daughters, Michelle Thompson (James) and Stacey Woodruff (Tracy); grandchildren, Abby Lambert, Bronson Woodruff, Maddie Weaver, Bailey Melvin, Marissa Melvin and Casen Woodruff; brothers, Delbert Weaver (Chrissy) and John R. Weaver; sisters, Pansy Blaylock (Larry) and Alice Cornelison (Joell); daughter in law, Stacy Weaver; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Houston E. Weaver, Jr.; brother, Jerry Cox and sisters, Bettie Ballentine and Judy Beth Weaver.
