Rita Lois Bugg

Funeral services for Rita Lois Bugg, 81, are set for 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Waldron Street Christian Church with Bro. Ted Avant and Bro. Drew Foster officiating. Burial will be in the Forrest Memorial Park.

Rita died June 23, 2014 at NMMC in Tupelo, MS. She was born February 14, 1933 in Maben, MS. to the late Ed Bullard and Allie Mae Bullard. She was a homemaker, and a devoted member of Waldron Street Christian Church. She was passionate about her faith and her family. She shared God’s love through cooking and attending to the needs of others. She enjoyed gardening with her husband, and a good word-search puzzle.

Preceded in death by her parents, brothers John (Dub) Wylie Bullard, Edmund Leo Bullard, Marvin Ellis Bullard, Lester Ervin Bullard, Hugh (Bud) Allie Bullard.

Survived by her husband of 60 years Dolan Bugg of Corinth, MS. son Dr. Doran Bugg his wife Kristie of Dallas, TX., grandchildren Benjamin Doran Bugg, Marylee Elizabeth Bugg, sisters Ruby Spruill of San Antonio, TX., Vivian Brannon of Millington, TN. Sister-in-law Margaret Bullard of Memphis, TN.
