Roger Prather

Roger Prather, 47, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at AHC Nursing Facility in Savannah, TN. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Roger was born on September 26, 1976 in Iuka, MS to the late James and Donna Prather. He was a graduate of Alcorn Central High School. Roger loved spending time in nature and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Nancy Godwin (Colton); grandchildren, Barker Lee-Henry Godwin and Abram James Godwin; aunts, Christy Dunn and Margaret Wilbanks (Jackie); great uncle, Noel Gann; special friend, Debbie Hobbs; mother of his child and special caregiver, Frances Prather; special caregiver, Diana Newby; and a host of other family and friends.

The Prather family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Gentiva Hospice for the wonderful care of Roger.
