

Royce Eugene Jalufka, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, died on September 6, 2012 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born on May 4, 1941 to the late Alphonse and Mary Lee Appelt Jalufka. He was a Chemical Engineer with R&M Energy, a graduate of Houston University where he received his Bachelor’s degree, served his country in the U.S. Army, loved the outdoors, gardening, fishing and watching NFL football. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gerry Jalufka.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Nancy Wagner Jalufka; two sons, Ben Jalufka of Little Rock, AR and Neal Jalufka and wife Iris of Corinth; three brothers, Wayne, Lynn, and Mark Jalufka; three sisters, Yvonne Wick, Rosemary Byrnes, and Lisa Kottwick; two grandchildren, Gavin and Emily Jalufka; a special sister-in-law, Jo Reynolds; several nieces, nephews, and a host of co-workers and friends.
Visitation and services will take in his home state of Texas at later date.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorials can be made to the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Corinth, or to the American Cancer Society.
