Such a lovely, lovely person! So thoughtful, kind and loving to all who knew her! I remember when she came to work at HSCA, so all put together in her suit, we all thought how very beautiful and professional! At the time I was in my late 20’s and we were all in awe as she walked by! Come to find out she was businesslike but so fun as well, loved to laugh and have a good time as we got our work done! Also worked in the office next to her at Ken Callis’ Office, her and Elaine. Just loved her! I know you loved your mom so much, Leah! Earth’s loss, but heaven’s gain! Remembering you at this time and great loss!

Carolyn has left a life long impression on me. On my first day with HSCA in 1990, I remember Carolyn sitting at her executive desk, and thinking what a beautiful lady. She was indeed a Lady. I will forever keep my green scarf she knitted for our Christmas party and will think of her fondly when I wear the scarf.

Please know that you are not alone in remembering a truly wonderful person that meant so much to so many.

My thoughts and prayers go to George and family. Sammie and I worked together at MedAssets. She was an amazing friend and mentor. She helped me fly for the first time, she taught me how to put on fake eyelashes and she taught me how to survive a Vegas Healthcare Conference. Sammie’s laughter was contagious and I will always remember her southernisms. “She’s got gumption” and “she’s as pretty as a peach” I love you Sammie and miss you.
