

She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Being that she loved hearing the word of God, she enjoyed traveling the country to attend Bible lectureships, gospel meetings and singings. Mrs. Hill was a member of Clear Creek Church of Christ where her son has served as the Minister for the last 14 years. She could catch and cook fish like on one else, she was known as “sweetie” by her caregivers at Magnolia Hospital and Cornerstone Rehab because of her infectious smile and endearing personality, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her husbands: Gordon Ellis, and Chuck Hill; one daughter, Connie Ellis Rogers; four sisters, Ruth Barnett, Beulah Lloyd, Annie Lou McCoy, Mary Francis Stewart; three brothers, Clarence, Oddie, and Jack Jolly.
Survivors include her children Tammie Booker and husband David, Duane Ellis and wife Kathy; one sister: Lorraine Martindale; a son in law: Jim Rogers; seven grandchildren, Amy Lancaster and husband Tate, Tyler Rogers and wife Starr, Shea Ellis, Samantha Talley and husband Richie, Saul Ellis and wife Becky, Matt Ellis, and Rob Scott; eight great-grandchildren, Lee, Matthew, Tatum, Gavin, Jake, Skylar, Ryan and Lilly; five step children: Patricia, Margaret, Butch, Pamela, and Charlie; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
