

Sarah Johnson Rogers, 87, died December 5th, 2014 at Northeast Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Services will be held today at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Smith and Rev. Scott Rogers officiating. Interment will be in the Henry Cemetery.
Mrs. Rogers was born April 7th, 1927 in Alcorn County to the late Levi and Sofronia Johnson. She was the owner of Corinthian Collectibles, enjoyed antique auctions, and flea markets. She is best known by her family for her chicken and dumplings and fried pies. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Corinth.
She is survived by two sons; Tom (Marianne) Rogers and Reverend Scott (Jennifer) Rogers, two daughters; Kim (David) Bass and Linda Lipford. Grandchildren; Courtney (Jason) Dean, John (Fleming) Rogers, Sarah Anne Rogers, Grace Rogers, Katie (Spencer) Hill, Anna Bass, Lisa (Charlie) Hobby, Lori( Keith) McIntyre, Brent Lipford and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Millard Rogers, infant daughters; Kathleen and Pauline, her parents, sisters; Vera Davis, Rachael Sloan, and son-in-law Jerry Lipford.
Visitation will be today from 1:00 until service time.
