Mrs. Woods died on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. She was born on December 31, 1958 to the late Johnny Lewis Sr. and Helen Rowland Woods. She worked in construction, loved all kinds of music, dancing, going to concerts, spending time at the river, and enjoyed going to Shiloh National Park to watch the eagles.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Woods was preceded in by her sister Connie Woods.
Survivors include two sons, Tim Burks and wife Jill and Dakota Parsons and wife Kim all of Michie; one daughter, Jeannie Dowd of Selmer; four brothers, Billy Woods and wife Nona of Michie, Jerry Woods and wife Nancy of Tuscumbia, AL, Johnny Woods Jr. and wife Terry and Charles Woods and wife Cathy all of Corinth; seven grandchildren, Tequilia, Levi, Avery, Haddie, Ruthie, Dylan, and Ashley; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
