

Celebration of Life for Sis. Eddie Levell Willis, 86 are set for Twelve Noon Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gene Irvin, Bro. James Thornton, Rev. John Willis, and Rev. David Willis officiating. Burial will be in the Dogwood Cemetery.
Sis. Willis died Sunday May 17, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born April 9, 1929 in Tippah Co. to the late Ed and Lela Stutts. Sis. Willis served as a pastor wife for over 61 years with her husband Bro. Lee Roy Willis, starting 5 churches, most recent was a member of Little Chapel Pentecostal Church. She worked as a seamstress at Weavers and was a dietatian at Whitfield and Magnolia Hospital, before become a housewife. For the past 10 years she has been a resident at Landmark Rehab in Booneville, MS.
Preceded in death by her parents, brother Bunk Stutts, son-in-law Tom Wood.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years Bro. Lee Roy Willis, son Robert Walter (Susan) Willis of Stacey, MN., daughters Dorothy Wood of Jackson, TN., Bernita Kay (Rev. Jack) Benjamin of Pierre, SD., Becky (Doug) Coleman of Columbus, MS. brother J.T. Stutts of CA., sisters Mary Yeakley of Fort Smith, AR., Marie McMeans of Counce, TN., 10 grandchildren 26 great grandchildren 12 great great grandchildren. Host of other family and friends.
