Steve was a great friend, person and brother to me... Mind you he wasn't my family, but he was definitely blood... I will always remember his smile and sense of humor... I miss him dearly and he is greatly loved... Thank you Doles for cherished memories... Love ya Brotha....

I am very saddened to hear of Steve’s passing. He was a great friend. I remember fondly of all the nights spent playing games or riding around together. Steve had a great sense of humor and a wonderful laugh. He was a friend to everyone he met. I will never forget the good times and all the friends I made simply because I knew you. I will miss you my friend.
Rest In Peace “Doles”.

I was lucky to know Steve, though sadly, it wasn't for very long. He was and is well-respected in our gaming community online, and had many friends there, all of whom miss him very much, and grieving in the loss of someone we knew, but never had the chance to meet in person, or say goodbye. He recruited many complete strangers in the game to join a guild group, and in doing so not only found some really great friends, but those friends met other friends because of him. Though we didn't know him in real life, in physical presence, he was in frequent contact with many of us, at all hours of the day and night. Many of our conversations lasted hours, and I am not the only one. He is someone who could talk about anything (and everything! :-)), and would skip from thought to thought and subject to subject with an ease I have very rarely seen. I will miss his humor, ability to live in the moment, sayings, and endless ability to talk and put others at ease, among many things. He was gifted at bringing different people together in goodwill, and fun, and could often get the shyest person to talk and feel genuinely included. I am glad he had to reconnect with some of his friends in his real life, since that was a great wish many of us had, as his health swiftly declined. He genuinely cared about lots of people...those he knew, whether he had talked to them yesterday, or ten years ago, and missed many people who he had lost (or lost touch with), along with Sunel, and his beloved dog, Cash, both of who he missed and he spoke about, often. He shared parts of his life, the good, as well as the parts he wished were different, and I will always consider myself privileged to have known him. We will miss you, Steve, and you will always have a place of respect and remembrance in our community.

Steve had always been there for me and multiple others. No matter who you were, or how long ago he had met you, there would be an instant connection of love and respect. May he rest inpeace.

Was a really great friend and loved by many people. Steve could always cheer you up no matter how bad things were going.

I remember being friends ever since elementary school, going to movies, the mall, Circuit Circus arcade (that was a long time ago!), worked at the same places, and just hanging out playing video games and lifting weights.

Such great memories of my friend. You will be missed greatly.
