

Funeral Services celebrating the life of Mary Sue Sharp will be Friday, October 25, 2024 at Memorial Funeral Home beginning at 1pm with Bro. Ralph Culp officiating. Visitation will take place from 11am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Henry Cemetery.
Sue passed away on October 21, 2024 at Dogwood Assisted Living surrounded by her family. She was born on November 15, 1933 to the late Woody and Hattie Harbor in the Centerville Community of Itawamba County. She graduated from Itawamba County High School in 1952. Sue was a lifelong member of East Corinth Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, gardening and sewing. However, what brought Sue the most joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Loy Sharp; son, Greg Sharp; brothers, Loyce Harbor and Tracy Harbor; and sister, Imogene Grissom.
Sue is survived by her son, Rusty Sharp (Peggy); daughter, Sheri Tucker (Scott); sisters, Nancy Ingram (Ben) and Betty Bramlett; grandchildren, Matt Tucker (Kay Lynn), Blake Tucker (Audrey), Dynisha Pharr (Nathan), Anna Holder (Blake), Ronja Crowley, and Clay Sharp; great grandchildren, Avery Tucker, Kent Tucker, Peyton Pharr, Millee Pharr, Carter Crowley, Jack Crowley, Ben Holder, and Thomas Holder; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
The family would like to say a special thank you to her caregivers, Mary Swinford, Janice McCarter and the staff of Dogwood Assisted Living and Community Hospice for the exceptional care that they showed to Sue.
Honorary Pallbearers include Blake Tucker, Matt Tucker, Clay Sharp, Carter Crowley, Blake Holder, and Nathan Pharr.
