Thomas Eugene Smith, 75 Services to celebrate the life of Thomas Eugene Smith, 75, are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday at McPeters Funeral Directors with burial to follow in Box Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 noon until service time at McPeters.

Thomas Eugene died on June 1, 2019 at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born in Corinth on September 5, 1943 to the late Tommy Marvin and Minnie Maydelle Vanderford Smith. He was a graduate of Corinth High School and retired from Kimberly-Clark after 21 years. He also had worked for Tyrone Inc., and construction work. He was a member of the Mississippi National Guard for 6 years. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his cousins, Hayden Smith (Ann), Danny Smith (Paula), Tommy Easley (Alice), Robbie Rogers, Charles Vanderford (Barbara); good friends, Bill Rogers (Barbara) and Steve Simon (Diane) and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Hayden Smith, Danny Smith, Charles Vanderford, Tommy Easley, Bill Rogers and Steve Simon.

Bro. Warren Jones will officiate the services.

Our wonderful CHS Class of 1961 has lost another fine member. I share the grief of all his friends and family. My hopes and prayers are with them that their faith will sustain them through this allowing all to move forward in the time granted to us by His Grace.
