Uthril Little Johnson

Celebration of Life Service for Uthril Little Johnson 94, are set for 2:00 pm. Sunday at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Ron Plymel and Bro. Warren Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Uthril died October 18, 2018 at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born August 23, 1924 in Glen, MS. To the late Henry and Jessie Little. She was lifelong member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, were her father served as music director and minster in her early years. She was a 1941 graduate of Glendale High School were she was the Valedictorian of her class, she also received the Citizenship Award. Uthril was retired owner of Risk Insurance in Corinth. She enjoyed reading and was a champion of strength, love and forgiveness to her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Mark Joyce; brothers, Howard Little, Jessie Olen Little and C. K. Little; sister Genova Wright.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry Johnson, Ricky C. Johnson; daughters, Judy Joyce, Sherri Rutledge (Mike); brother, J. A. Little; grandchildren, Jeff Joyce, Sean Johnson, Christian Johnson, Angel Pilcher, Eric Rutledge, Eliza Hill, Jacob Johnson, Ben Johnson; 12 great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers Sean Johnson, Christian Johnson, Eric Rutledge, Terry Pilcher, Jacob Johnson, Ben Johnson.

Family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 to service time at Liberty Hill Baptist Church.

Flattop,
So sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. I know how very close you were and how hard it is to lose a parent. She is in a much better place now and that is what we must cling too. Been so many years since I've seen you but I still love you like a brother and still think about you often with good memories. I'll be thinking about you and your family and keeping you in my prayers. Would love to see and hear from you.
