Vickie Nell Bright

A Celebration of Life Service for Vickie Nell Crum Bright, 65, is set for 2:00pm Saturday at Hatchie Chapel Church with burial to follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery.

Vickie died August 7, 2024 at her residence. She was born November 22, 1958 in Walnut to the late J.C. and Ruth Crum. She was a homemaker and of the non-denotational faith, she enjoyed flowers and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Bright; daughter, Tina Burns; parents; sister, Linda Mercer; and brothers, Dewayne Crum, David Crum, Hershel Crum, and Jerry Crum

She is survived by her children, Tony Mercer, Tonia Oswalt (Jeff), Vanessa Dixon, and Bobby Bright; brothers, Luther Crum (Gracie), Junior “Snuffy” Crum (Jean), Jiles Crum, Ray Crum (Dawn), and Kenny Crum (Ann); grandchildren, Brittany Peterson (Ryan), Greg “Bubba” Burns (Chelsea), Patrick Burns, Blake Oswalt, Allie Mercer, Hunter Bright, Opie Dixon, Kaylee Bright, and Sky Dixon; several great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends, that she has raised as her own.

Pallbearers are Michael Crum, Leland Crum, Jr., Glen Crum, Kevin Crum, James Wilbanks, and Wayne Jones, Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Frankie Crum, Brandon Stewart, and L.R. Crum.
