Vida Bell Bingham, 99, of Corinth, died Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Whitfield Nursing Home. She was a member of Fraley’s Chapel Church of Christ and the Home Demonstration Club. She enjoyed volunteering at the nursing home, sewing, and quilting. She was a foster parent who shared her home and family with many children.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors Chapel with Minister Walker Whittle and Minister G.W. Childs officiating. Burial will be in Fraley’s Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 noon until service time.
Survivors include two daughters, Sarah Reynolds of Corinth and Jamie Sue Fisher of Nashville, Tn.; six grandchildren, Cliff Reynolds (Denise) , Jimmy Reynolds(Shea), Marty Spann (Spook), Christy Fisher Perry (Wade), Mike Bingham (Julie), and Charles Bingham; five great grandchildren, Cassie Spann, Coleman Spann, Cherranda Reynolds, Alise Castille, and Jake Reynolds; two great great grandchildren, Shauna Davis and Haley Knepp; one great great great grandchild, Aubrey Davis; and two foster children, Judy Ragan and Myra Bivens.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Columbia Ann Taylor Strickland; her husband, Clifford Bingham; two sons, Perry Bingham and Charles Bingham; one grandson, Tyler Knepp; three brothers, and 4 sisters.
