Mr. Hodges died Sunday, April 1, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 1, 1949 in Ripley, Ms. to the late Ray and Virginia Holliday Hodges. He retired after 16 ½ years as the instructor in the Graphic Arts Department at the Alcorn Vocational Technology Center to open his own company, Hodges and Sons Printing Company in downtown Corinth. Wayne later worked and retired from the Daily Corinthian as the press foreman. He was a printer all of his adult life and had worked at various jobs in printing with his latest printing job being at Office Pro. He attended Mississippi State University and was a member of the American Trapshooting Association. Wayne was a loving husband, exceptional father and a mentor to all.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Ray and Virginia Holliday Hodges.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gayla Swann Hodges of Corinth; two sons, Nathan Hodges of Corinth, Greg (Kim) Hodges of Maysville, GA; sister; Debbie Hill of Ripley, MS; brother, Ray W. Hodges, Jr. of Hoschton, GA; grandchildren; Aubrey Hodges, Ross Hodges, Faith Hodges, Dylan Greenway, Carter Greenway and Colten Hodges.
