William T Jones

A service to celebrate the life of William T. Jones, 68, will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12 noon until service time. Rev. Kelley Zellner will officiate the service.

William passed away on January 2, 2025 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born in Chester County, TN on May 26, 1956 to the late James Curtis and Irene Butler Jones. He was a self-employed painter for many years in the Corinth and Alcorn County area. He never met a stranger. He enjoyed riding the roads, talking, visiting with friends, and making new ones along the way. He loved to fish, watch western movies and just cruising the streets.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Regina Hudson; brother, Terry Jones; and his special friend, Barbara Boren.

He is survived by his daughters, Susan Wright (Josh) and Cristy Strickland (Michael); grandchildren, Trinity Wright and Aiden Strickland; brother, Jerry Jones (Gladys); sister, Faye Belford; sister-in-law, Brenda Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
