Mr. Jones died October 23, 2012 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born September 11, 1932 to the late Walter and Lula Mae Jones, he was a graduate of Farmington High School and NEMCC, he retired after 40 years from the Daily Corinthian. Was a member of Farmington Baptist Church, served in the US Army and was an avid golfer.
Preceded in death by his parents, brother Doug Jones, Sister Marie Melton, niece Judy Melton and an infant brother and sister.
Survived by his wife of 61 years Betty H. Jones of Corinth, MS. Son Ronnie (Ginny) Jones of Killen, Al. brother Billy Jones of West Frankfort, IL. Sister Carolyn (Larry) Steen of Corinth, grandson Jacob Riley Jones of Knoxville, TN. Host of other family and friends.
