I first met Ms Wilma while working for her son Mike. She was a very sweet woman, a tad bit stubborn, and always had a story to tell. She was a hoot to listen to. She loved her family and would light up when talking about her grandsons and great grandchildren. Ms Wilma was loved by all and will be missed by many. Fly high Ms Wilma Byrd.

Wilma has been in my life since I was very young, beginning at Trinty Methodist Church. She was a wonderful lady and it’s so sad to hear that she has left us. She has left this community with precious gifts in the form of her children and grands. I am blessed to know a few of them. May God give you peace during this time.

I've known the Byrd family most of my life. I worked with Wilma at Magnolia and considered her a very good friend. I extend my sympathy and prayers to Justin and all the Byrd family.
