Albert Montpetit

MONTPETIT, Albert – (Domtar Employee for 40 years – Lifeguard at St. Lawrence Park) - At his residence on Saturday September 15, 2012. He was 91. Beloved husband of the late Jeannette (Briere) Montpetit. Dear father of Pauline Litalien (Lionel), Norma Gareau (Sylvio), Irene Primeau (Herbie), Marie Thompson (late Bruce), Linda Hinchberger (Regis), Roney (Maggie), Raymond (late Christiane) and Robert Montpetit (Anita), Darlene Lalonde (Richard) and the late Lorraine Chausse (late Rene). Sadly missed by 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. Also survived by one sister Stella Marleau (late Maurice). Predeceased by his parents, Leo and Mina (Chalifoux) Montpetit, one brother, Rodolphe Montpetit (late Cecile) and one sister Rhea Roy (late Leonard), 1 grandchild, Christopher and 1 great grandchild, Melissa. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall, on Tuesday from 2 - 4pm and 7 - 9pm and on Wednesday from 9:30 - 10:30am. Funeral Mass, Wednesday September 19, 2012 at St. Peter's Catholic Church followed by cremation. Rite of Committal, Notre Dame Cemetery. Memorial donations to Hospice Cornwall - Carefor appreciated.
