Ann Meijerink Koggel

KOGGEL, Ann – At the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site, on Friday, October 26, 2012, in her 84th year, after a brief, courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by family. Ann leaves behind her beloved husband of 60 years, Morris. Loving mother of eleven children: Bill (Barb Lee), Henry, Christine (Andrew Brook), Yvonne (Robin Lane), Tony (Kathy), Dan (predeceased by Beth in 2009), Wayne (Monique), Bernie, Lucian (Brenda), Irene (Don Lancaster), and Maureen (Tom Dillon). Loving Oma of twelve grandchildren: Ashley, Kalica, Hayleigh, and Desiree; Jennifer and Christopher Lane; Kyle, Dillon, and Molly Lancaster; Senna and Aiden; and Emily Dillon. Raised in Holland and the eldest of a large family, she is predeceased by her father Hendrikus Johannes Meijerink (1978) and mother Euphemia Maria Ruwen (1968). She is survived by her sisters: Diny Logtenberg Meijerink; Fenna Anbergen Meijerink; Riek Verweg Meijerink; and Hennie Anbergen Meijerink. She is predeceased by her sisters: Gerry Jansen Meijerink (2008); Marie Wellenberg Meijerink (1991); Irene Meijerink (1944) and her brother Jan Meijerink (1954). The family will be in attendance at Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh St. West (613-932-8482) from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2012 and from 9 a.m. to the time of Funeral on Saturday, November 10, 2012. The Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 in the Lahaie and Sullivan Chapel at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
