Beloved wife of the late James D. Bell. Loving mother of Shari Smelko (Mark). Proud grandmother of Scott Smelko and Carli Smelko.
Barbara is predeceased by her parents Madison Grover and Eleanor Vanier (née Perry); as well as her siblings: June Messier (late Renald), Marion Parker (late Tom) and James Grover.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Heritage Suites as well as the staff at Cornwall Community Hospital for the excellent care that was given to their mother.
In keeping with Barbara’s wishes cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday September 4, 2025, at St. Andrew's-St. Mark's United Church (20 Johnson Cres., Long Sault, ON. K0C 1P0) at 11:00AM.
Private interment to take place at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery.
