Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at the age of 93 years. She will live on forever in the hearts of the family and friends she has left behind, through all of the memories made and shared in her lifetime.
Beloved wife of the late Leo Filion.
Loving mother of Janice (Sidney) Filion-Tedford and Brent (Brenda) Filion. Proud grandmother of Cory, Daren and Dustin and 4 great-grandchildren. Treasured aunt of Bob (Brenda) Burnie and Monique (Maurice) Brazeau as well as several other nephews and nieces.
Predeceased by her 12 siblings and spouses. She was the youngest of 13 children.
The family would like to thank all of the nurses and staff on the J&P Level 1 Palliative Care Unit at the Cornwall Community Hospital for the amazing compassion and care of both Beatrice and themselves. They would also like to say a special thank you to Tammy Seguin.
As per Beatrice’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes West Branch 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciate by the family.
