SABOURIN, Claire – Suddenly at the Cornwall Community Hospital – McConnell Site on Friday, August 31, 2012. Marie Claire (Martell) Sabourin of Cornwall. Beloved wife and best friend for 54 years of Lionel Sabourin. Dear sister of Ray (Ramona), Gloria Tyo (Roger St-Jean) both of Cornwall, Lorette (late Fernand Sabourin) of Moose Creek and Réjeanne of Gatineau, QC. Dear daughter of the late Ralph Martell and the late Aldena (Lacelle) Martell. Dear sister-in-law of Archie Sabourin (Diane), Edouard Sabourin (Thérèse) both of Moose Creek, André Sabourin (Marguerite) of Cornwall, Gilberte Sabourin (late Adelard) of Cornwall, Lucien Sabourin of Dorion, QC, Gisèle Sabourin (late Wilfrid) of Vermont, Rachel Sabourin (late Maurice), Verna Sabourin (late Alcide) both of Cornwall and Alice Sabourin (late Raymond) of Pembroke. Predeceased by two brothers Armand (Alice Daigneault), George (late Marie) one sister, Yvonne Leblanc and brothers-in-law, Jerome Sabourin (late Freda), Roland Sabourin (late Dorothy) and Leo Sabourin (late Thérèse). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Will be sadly missed by her best friend Cheryl Fournier, her neighbors, especially Kim and Aaron Ivens and their children Hailey and Hunter, who were Claire’s “adopted” grandchildren, her friends, her godchildren, France Sabourin (Pascal Bernier) of Cornwall, Ginette Sabourin of Long Sault, Wally Tyo of Alexandria and her great-niece Eloise. In keeping with Claire’s wishes there will be no visitation. Cremation.
