It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Constance Aubin at Southbridge Long-Term Care, who left this world peacefully on July 16, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on October 11, 1933, in Cornwall, Ontario, Constance lived a long life marked by unwavering love, deep family ties, and quiet acts of kindness that left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Beloved wife of the late Roger Aubin, Constance was the cherished mother of Gilles Aubin (Rosemarie) and Nicole Aubin (Alex). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Derek, Ryan, Brock, Nathan, and Alicia, and a joyful great-grandmother to Alexandra, Matthew, Callum, Niall, Jonathan, Pandora, Gaius, Blaise, and Coleson—each of whom brought immense pride and purpose to her later years.
Constance was the dear sister of Guy Legault (LeeAnn), Rene Legault (Florence), Vernon Legault (Late Pauline), and Garry Legault (Christine). She was predeceased by her loving parents, Ernest and Irene (née Bourget) Legault as well as her siblings Leola Aubin (Late Raymond), Normand Legault (Late Jeannette) and Ronald Legault (Late Therese).
Her extended family also included her chosen brother, Art St-Jean (Joanie), and her treasured friend, Paul Levesque.
Arrangements are entrusted to M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt St., Cornwall (613-938-1039). In keeping with Constance’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
The family kindly asks that in lieu of flowers or donations, you honour Constance’s memory by taking a moment out of your day to show an act of kindness to someone else. That is how she lived—and that is how she would wish to be remembered. She will be deeply missed and her memory forever cherished.
