HELPS, Diane Veronique (Martin) - At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday October 16, 2012. She was 61. She leaves her loving husband of almost 43 years, George R. Helps. Dear mother of Gregory Helps (Chantal) and Natalie Helps. Sadly missed by 2 grandchildren, Jonathan and Nicholas and her Godchild Michelle O’Shaughnessy. Dear sister of Gilles Martin (Rachel), Lisette Carriere (Roy), Micheline Almeida (Izzy), Denis Partridge (Jim Squires), Rollande Emmett (Jeffrey) and Christian Martin (Sue). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Rolland and Jeanne (Nault) Martin and one brother Robert Martin. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall, on Friday from 2 - 4pm and 7 - 9pm and on Saturday from 9am until service. Funeral Liturgy, Saturday October 20, 2012 at in the chapel of the funeral home at 10am followed by cremation. Rite of Committal, St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario appreciated.
