Eleanore Parsons

It is will deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Eleanore Parsons (née McGillivray) peacefully at Southbridge Cornwall on Sunday December 1, 2024 at the age of 84. Her daughters Elizabeth (Troy) and Jo-Anne (Marc) were by her side.

Her four grandsons: Ryan (Monika), Brendon, Tritan and Cody; and her two great grandchildren: Amelia and Liam, were her ultimate passion. She devoted herself to being the best mother and grandmother possible… they were her pride and joy, her guiding light and her most cherished accomplishments.

Eleanore is survived by her brother James McGillivray (Patricia); and many nieces and nephews who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

Eleanore was preceded in death by her husband George. Siblings; Peggy Crawford (late Eddie), Alex McGillivray (late Elsie), Helen Blahut (late Alex), Bob McGillivray, and Jean Butters (late Allen).

Joanne, Elizabeth and family would like to thank the staff and those extra special staff at Southbridge for their care and support in taking care of their mom.

To honour Eleanore’s wishes there will be no funeral service. The family invites you to privately celebrate Eleanore’s memory in your own ways. Know that she will be with us all in spirit. The family thanks you for your understanding during this difficult time.
