KITTS, Elias Edward – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Sunday August 9, 2015. He was 91. He leaves his loving wife of 63 years, Simone (Fortier) Kitts. Dear father of Anne Ouimet (Stan). Loving grandfather of Andre (Katie), Chantal (Shane) and Laura (Nick). Cherished great grandfather of Maeve, Ellyot, Kenley, Eleanor and Lincoln. Survived by his 3 brothers, Robert, Norman and Lee Kitts and 1 sister, Ruby Wilson. Predeceased by his parents, Gerald and Rose (Lalonde) Kitts, 2 brothers, Leslie and Lloyd Kitts and 2 sisters, Jean Branchaud and Leona Froats. A special Thank You to Dr. Foley and all of the wonderful staff and volunteers at Heartwood for all of their care and dedication provided to Elias. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Friday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm. Friends are requested to assemble at St. Peter’s Catholic Church for Funeral Mass on Saturday August 15, 2015 at 10am. Rite of Committal, at St. Notre Dame Cemetery to follow. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to Heartwood Long Term Care would be appreciated by the family.
