

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth MacDonald (née Richardson) of Ingleside, Ontario, who passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on March 2, 1939, Elizabeth lived a full and meaningful life surrounded by family, creativity, and love.
Beloved wife of the late Calvin MacDonald. She was a devoted mother to Robert Nuttall (Darlene) of Warina, Kevin Nuttall (the late Joyce) of Long Sault, Steven Nuttall (Betty) of Apple Hill, Richard Nuttall of Vancouver, Deborah Nuttall (Doug Lafrance) of Morrisburg, Kelly MacDonald of Ingleside, and Daniel MacDonald (Kathy) of Avonmore. Elizabeth was a proud grandmother to 19 grandchildren and was predeceased by one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of immense pride and joy in her life. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Jim Richardson (Beverly) of Hamilton, and Grace Marshall (the late William) of Ingleside.
Predeceased by her parents Hazel (née Gallinger) and Percy Richardson, siblings Ronald Richardson (Mona) of Cornwall and Ann Derouchie (Clifford). Previously married to the late John Nuttall.
Elizabeth had a deep passion for the arts and was known for her love of crafts, ceramics, and quilting. Her creativity and handmade works brought beauty and warmth to those around her, just as her gentle spirit did in every part of her life.
Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home – West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 11 am until the time of funeral on Friday, June 27th. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home at 1 p.m. Interment, Pleasant Valley Cemetery to follow.
In memory of Elizabeth, donations can be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
