Dear Aunt Evelyn when I think of my childhood I will always remember you. I remember you babysitting us on weekends when mom and dad would go away. I remember you scrubbing floors with steel wool and javex. Then there was fishing in Lancter under the railroad bridge with bamboo poles. I remember those huge mushrooms you used to pick. And the farm, the summer I stayed with you. I'll never forget killing and cleaning chickens . Dad bought a rototiller and we put a garden in. I remember we washed our clothes outside in an old wringer washer and then hang it on the line. I remember the night the pig gave birth and we were up all night. The best part though was at the end of summer making pickles and relish. I loved the corn relish. It was all good. You will never be forgotten so until we meet again be with the Angel's.
