KING, Evelyn Joyce (Groves) –– On Saturday September 8, 2012, at the Cornwall Community Hospital. She was 84. She leaves her loving husband and best friend of 66 years, James King. Loving mother of Diane Breed (Bernie), Jim King (Georgina), Suzanne King, Richard King (Faye), Jack King (Barbara) and Lisa King. Cherished grandmother of 6 and great-grandmother of 3. Predeceased by her daughter Nancy King, her parents, James and Olive (Walton) Groves, 4 brothers, Walter, Wilfred, Robert, Frank, and 3 sisters, Ivy, Lillian and May. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Tuesday from 2 –4 and 7-9pm and on Wednesday from 9:00 -10:30am. Funeral Mass Wednesday September 12, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Church, at 11am. Rite of Committal at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society appreciated.
