VIAU, Fernand (Fern)- at the Cornwall Hospice on Friday, June 8, 2012. Fernand (Fern) Jean Viau of Cornwall; age 84. Beloved husband of the late Gisele (Morin) Viau. Cherished father of Yvon (Francine) of Lunenburg and Claudette Martel (Bernie) of Cornwall. Proud grandfather of LeeAnne and Nicole Martel, Melanie ( Mike) Bryan, Steven ( Joanne) Fergus and Shelley Ann (Billy) North and great grandfather of Jacob, Avery, Hunter and Ashley. Dear brother of Annette Desgroseiller of Chateauguay, Germaine Charlebois (Aurele) and Therese Loiselle (Gerard) both of Cornwall. Dear son of the late Alberic Viau and the late Marie Berthe (Quenneville) Viau. Predeceased by brothers Gerard, Lucien and Jean-Paul and one sister Simone Trudel. Resting at the Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 2 PM Sunday. Funeral Monday, June 11, 2012 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis de Sales Church at 11 AM. Cremation. The family will be in attendance from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM on Sunday and from 9 AM until the time of Funeral on Monday.
