Loving mother of Bruce Cookson (Lori Viens) and Lynda Maureen Cookson.
Treasured grandmother of David Wettlauffer (Ashley), Will Cookson and Giselle Fiona Lute. Helen also adored her chosen grandchildren Sarah Chiovitti (Andrew), Megan Chiovitti (Paige) and Samantha Emberly including her chosen great-grandchildren Sadie and Eli.
Helen was an active member of the St. Thomas Anglican Church as well as a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She will be dearly missed by her numerous friends and extended family.
Predeceased by her parents Albert Henry and Evva Ada (née McNairnie) Hessel.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public services.
