ELDERBROOM, Irene Elizabeth (nee Watts) – Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Monday, May 2, 2016. Irene Elderbroom of Cornwall; age 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Peter Elderbroom. Cherished mother of Hughie Elderbroom, Douglas Elderbroom, Joan Menard (late Mike), Betty Elderbroom, John Elderbroom (Elaine) and Wayne Elderbroom (Michelle). Proud grandmother of Bruce, Shelly, Chris, Derek, Jason, Tracy, Matthew, Danielle, Joshua, Ben, Amanda and Sam. Loving great-grandmother of several great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Mary (nee O’Brien) Watts. Also predeceased by her children Carol Tessier (Mickey) and Larry Elderbroom (late Sally). Irene will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Friday, May 6, 2016 for Service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. Friday until time of Funeral.
