Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Irene (Jacques) Lalonde of Long Sault; age 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Gordon. Loving mother of Ronald, Dorleen Legue (late Ernie), Darlene Borden (Charles), Louis (Shaun Vaas), Dayle Cosway (Mark), Timothy (Laurie), Stephen and Cindy Woods (Eric). Cherished grandmother of Tanya Rafuse (Roger), Todd Lalonde (Trudy), Vanessa Legue, Kelly Burelle (Gaetan), Andrea Whitford (Weldon), Robin Ivens (Tracy), Jason Ivens, Aarron Ivens (Kimberley), Wanda Lalonde, David Cowen (Tanis), Ann Cowen, Katryn Cosway, Kristen Cosway, Victoria Cosway, Jeremy Lalonde, Anita Lalonde, Derek Lalonde, Ashley Lalonde, Amber Leigh Lalonde (Joey), Justin Woods (Cinthia), Leighton Woods (Lindsey), Jordan Woods (Jessica) and Ryan Woods (Ashley). Great-grandmother of twenty great-grandchildren and great great-grandmother of one great-great-granchild. Predeceased by her parents, Louis Jacques and Florence (Fontaine) Jacques, her step-mother Doreen Bissonnette and predeceased by one daughter Linda.

Resting at Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m. Tuesday . Funeral Wednesday, August 19, 2015 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pius X Church, Long Sault at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral.
