Mrs. Irene Rosemonde Laperle

Born on May 18, 1934, to Alexandre and Cecile Lalonde (née Rollin), Irene lived a long, rich life rooted in dedication, kindness, and love for her family and community. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Glen Laperle, with whom she shared many wonderful years.

Irene is lovingly remembered by her daughter Karen Ross (Rodney Carter). She is also remembered by Rodney’s son, Dallas Carter (Tonya), and their child, Hayden. Irene is survived by her dear sister Stella Gibeault (late Renald), and was predeceased by her brother Robert Lalonde.

A proud and committed member of the workforce, Irene dedicated over 30 years of service to the St. Lawrence Seaway Authority. She often spoke fondly of the friendships and memories formed during her time there, which remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes West Branch (613-932-8482). In keeping with Irene’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate and dedicated staff at Glen Stor Dun Lodge for the exceptional care and kindness they showed Irene in her final years. Your support brought comfort and peace to both Irene and her family.
