In the brief, but trying weeks prior to her passing, she was surrounded by friends and family and was able to tell everyone all the important things she wanted us to know. And we, in turn, had the same opportunity, for which we will be forever grateful.
She leaves behind: her husband, Marc, her son, Jeffrey, her three sisters, many sisters - and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends, and former co-workers at Concordia University.
She will always be remembered and forever missed by so many, but we take some comfort in knowing that she will be reunited with Mommy, Daddy and brothers Jim and Stephen, who passed before her.
We send our thanks to everyone who has helped us make the most of our final days with Janet- friends, family, coworkers, and hospital staff.
Arrangements under the care and direction of Lahaie and Sullivan Funeral Home West Branch, 20 Seventh Street W, Cornwall, ON (613-932-8482).
Service and a celebration of life will take place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 20389 Church Street, South Lancaster, ON, on Thursday May 22, 2025, at 11:00AM, with a reception to follow in the church hall.
Janet has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory, to either Animatch, who helped her adopt her faithful Max and Jeannie, or to Agapè Centre, a Cornwall Group that works tirelessly to provide food and support to those in need.
She has also asked that we all dress casually and that any ladies who will be attending, please wear black leggings, if you so wish, in her honour.
