Beloved wife of Dr. Benoit Guindon for over 47 years.
Loving mother of Chad Guindon, Stefan Guindon and Gregory Guindon. Dear sister-in-law of Judy Fishwick.
Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Raphaelina (née Infante) Fishwick and her brother Peter Fishwick.
JoAnn graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1978. In 1981, mom returned to the Cornwall area, with dad, to set up his medical practice. She was an important part of the practice, working as both his assistant and office manager.
Over the years, she served on school councils and on the South Stormont minor hockey board of directors, devoting most of her time to her three boys. She enjoyed her many travels to Europe but mostly her second home on Siesta Key beach in Florida.
The family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) on Friday, April 25, 2025 from 9 a.m. until the time of ceremony. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated by the family.
