DEWAR, John – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Sunday February 23, 2014. He was 82. Beloved husband for 52 years of Ann (Amsing) Dewar. Dear father of Corinna Walsh (Matthew) and Kenneth Dewar (Sandra). Sadly missed by 5 grandchildren, Tanya (Courtney), Matthew (Kayla), Alexandra, Kayla (Denis) and Brian and 5 great grandchildren, Olivia, Payton, Keegan, Kyrah and Drayven. Loving brother of Catherine MacDonald (Albert), Donald Dewar (Pearl), and Marlene Mullen (late Robert). John will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Helene (Montroy) Dewar, and 1 brother, Raymond Dewar (Linda). Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Saturday from 9:30-10:45 am. Funeral Service Saturday March 1, 2014 at 11 am in the chapel of the funeral home.
