WESTLEY, John Thornton – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Monday, June 2, 2014. Thornton Westley, formerly of Westley's Point; at the age of 83. Dearest husband of the late Norma Hutt. Cherished father of Heather MacMillan (Murray), Mary MacDonald and Greg Westley (Anne). Loving grandfather to Rebecca and Brady. Dear companion of Annette Peterson. Predeceased by his parents Alex Westley and Mary Margaret Lalonde, his brothers Ross and Ralph and his sister Hazel Hewitt. He will be fondly remembered by his sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. The family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613.932.8482) from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm on Sunday. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 9, 2014 in St. Andrew's United Church in Bainsville at 11 am. Burial St. Andrew's United Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
