Joseph Peter Sauve

SAUVE, Joseph Peter (Joe) – He has risen to heaven on the wings of angels, our loved one’s journey has ended. Joseph Peter Sauve, age 75, passed at Hospice Cornwall on Sunday January 25, 2015. Left to celebrate his life are his wife of 54 years, Pat, his sons, Randy (Carol) and Todd (Josée), six grandchildren, Melissa, Scott (Melissa), Danielle (Tom), Connor, Evan and Tanner Sauve and one great grandson, Grayson Sauve. Also survived by sisters, Shirley, May (Roger), Joyce (Maurice), Connie (late Roger) and brothers, Harry (Lauraine) and Ronnie (Jeannette). Predeceased by his baby daughter, Jodi-Joy, his parents, James and Hazel (Lalonde) Sauve, four sisters, Margarite (in infancy), Dorna (late Jack), Myrtle (late Vince), Paulette (late Sonny) and three brothers, Lawrence, George (Brenda) and Alfie (Myrna). Joe will be fondly remembered by many favoured nieces and nephews and special friends. He will be missed by his good buddy Muggs. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Wednesday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm and on Thursday from 9:30 – 10:45am. Funeral Liturgy, Thursday January 29, 2015 in the chapel of the funeral home at 11am followed by cremation. Rite of Committal, Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hospice Cornwall would be appreciated by the family. ATTIRE: Casual. Come as you are. Jeans welcome.
