She now joins her son Donald Gordon Code.
Cherished mother of Shannon June Johnston of Cornwall, Donna (Ted) Olynyk of Arnprior and Deborah Code-Cooper (Andrew Cook) of Cornwall.
Proud grandmother of Jessica Cooper (Ryan Laplante), Joshua Cooper and Skye Cooper, Jewellianna Cooper (Austin Boyer), and Nicholas and Emma Olynyk along with her great-grandchildren Lexie and Jazmyn Laplante, Arebelle and Xander Cooper.
She leaves behind her siblings Errol (Caroline) Johnston of Renfrew, Sandra Faught of Pembroke, Sarah Jane Proulx of Petawawa, Janice (Jim) Hilliard of Kingston and Jamie (Sue) Johnston of Winnipeg.
June will be dearly missed by her many friends as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Ken and Sarah (née Barr) Johnston and her brother-in-law Graham Faught.
For everyone she knew or met, she was kind-hearted and attentive. We are all better for knowing her and the world is a better place for having her in it.
In following June’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
