Loving and devoted mother of Adrian “Bobby” (Tammy) Garner of Cornwall and Joel (Judy) Garner of Barbados.
Treasured grandmother of 8 and proud great-grandmother of 10.
Merna will be dearly missed by her sister Jean Holder of Florida along with her loving nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Predeceased by her parents Vincent “Chappy” and Editha (née Nurse) Garner, her siblings Noel “John” Garner, Edwin “Pa” Nurse, Carmen Nurse-Brown and Muriel Nurse-Burke.
Family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, 20 Seventh Street West, Cornwall, ON. (613) 932-8482, on Thursday, April 13 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 am until time of service. Funeral Service will be held on Friday April 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel with Father Adam Brown officiating.
The family wish to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation to the wonderful and caring staff at Woodland Villa.
