Michel Miller

Michel passed away suddenly at home in Cornwall, Ontario from a heart attack with his loving wife, Lisa Miller (née Lapierre) by his side.

Michel leaves behind his three children Josée Miller (Anthony Thomas), Mathieu Miller (Stephanie Landry) and Jamie Miller (Samantha Pilgrim). Cherished grandfather of Sophia Miller, Farraah Thomas-Miller, Danté Thomas, Ainsley Thomas, late Raven Thomas, Willow-Grace, Brielle Miller, Autumn Miller, Aylie Miller and Olivia Miller.

Survived by his mother Rita Miller (née Menard) and by sisters Lynn Lavigne (Richard) and Monique Miller (Michel). Predeceased by his father Gerald Miller, his brother Paul Miller and by his sister, Jeannie Lee.

Michel was a great man, Husband, Father, Papa. He had a heart of gold and was always there for advice and a shoulder to cry on. He was always willing to help others. He suffered with chronic pain and diabetes and even though he was sore he still got up each morning and took care of himself and his wife Lisa. He was the glue to our family and the guy you could count on. He will be greatly missed. He leaves an imprint on so many that came into his path that he helped little or big. He was passionate for nature and life. He loved fishing and hunting. He passed on his knowledge to anyone willing to learn, especially his son Mathieu who learned all about hunting from him. There are so many good memories of Michel and so many people that will miss him. He can now rest peacefully without pain.

Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) on Wednesday May 31, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral. Funeral will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home on Thursday June 01, 2023, at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
